Nola on FreeWill and NeuroScience

Professor Robert Nola from the UoA Philosophy Dept. joins us to discuss free will, and neuroscience. He’ll give a short talk about the topic then we’ll have Q&A and discussion.

We have discussed free will a couple of times before, including this talk by Benhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBDJ6SzQW1I , but this is the first guest academic we’ve had speak on the topic.

A previous talk by Nola on Karl Popper’s science can be found here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cq_U_XN3Yo You can read more about his research here: http://artsfaculty.auckland.ac.nz/staff/?UPI=rnol003&P=3840

This event is open to all students and members of the public.
